Resilience. Whether in business, (mental) healthcare, sports or life, it is the single most important ‘superpower’ for one to develop.
It is not a fixed trait that you either have or don’t have, nor is it a single skill you learn like riding a wave Instead, it is a mix of your natural personality and the habits you build.
By sharing my stories and ideas I aim to give people faith in one’s abilities to overcome. Sure, it is nice to hit your sales targets and generate growth year over year, but in business, as in life, you’re simply not gonna to win all the time, you’re gonna lose some. Question is: how do you respond?
Over the course of 13 years I have gained knowledge and experience through my own transformation process from Young Professional to Peer Worker, that can be applied to many aspects of life. I know what it takes to reinvent yourself and have become a specialist in the art of it.
What I have come to understand about resilience during my own transformation is:
🌀Slow down after a set back, in order to recover
🌀No such thing as failure, just a lesson learned
🌀Not every opportunity is for you, let it go
🌀That ‘magical’ feeling of success, never forget
